Amazing breakfast and lovely vibe
What a lovely stay! Super cozy atmosphere, and the full English breakfast was a highlight after a chilly hike. The hosts went above and beyond, even clearing a table for my unexpected guests. Just a bit noisy at night, but it was worth it for the comfy room and warm service.

the hosts were super friendly and helpful. the vibe of the pub is just so cozy and welcoming, perfect for relaxing after a long day of hiking. room was clean and comfy, and that full english breakfast was amazing! loved having food in front of the wood stove, it was perfect for warming up n starting the day right. location is great for exploring the nearby mountains, definitely a place to recommend.
the room was a bit dark, which was kinda annoying. also, parking was tight but I guess that's normal for a pub built ages ago.

We had a good time at the inn. The rooms were cozy and spotless. We enjoyed a lovely meal in the restaurant, which was an unexpected treat for our family. Proximity to nature's wonders like the ancient yew tree was a highlight for everyone, including our little one!
My children wanted more kid-friendly activities around the area.

Our 2-night stay was fantastic, with breakfast cooked to order and the evening meals were surprisingly good. I loved chilling in the lovely garden area with a book. The cozy pub vibe made for great evenings. The lack of Wi-Fi in the room was a slight bummer, but honestly, I was too beat from exploring to care much! 😊
